Scoliosis, Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease, developmental dysplasia of the hip, cerebral palsy, skeletal dysplasia, and slipped capital femoral epiphysis were a some of the diagnosis for the 23 children in the study. The children received multiple sessions of chiropractic care for their conditions. In every case the parents of the children reported positive outcomes associated with chiropractic treatment.

Colic or excessive crying from infants is another issue that plagues many new parents. Chiropractic has been shown to help. A study on infant colic in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics showed that chiropractic care decreased crying time in infants with colic.
